We went for our 36 week check up yesterday, and all is well in the baby department. The doctor estimates he is between 6 1/2 to 7 pounds already. From the abdominal exam, she said he was butt down, which means he is breeched right now. However, we are holding out hope that he will turn before delivery, which she said is very common and will probably happen.
We also were hooked up to the monitor for 20 minutes to monitor bean's activity as I hadn't been feeling him move quite as often. I have a great doctor because she doesn't leave anything to chance and hooked us up just to make sure he was okay. After 20 minutes of monitoring his heartbeat, all was well. She noted some irritability, but nothing concerning.
So, all systems are go as of now. From what she could tell, I am not dilated at all and am moving along smoothly. We are just praying for him to flip. If I have to stand on my head for the next 4 weeks, I will.

Glad to hear thigs are going well! I have a gift for you guys that you should get sometime this week! Also consider going to a chiropractor(especially one who specializes in prenatal chiropractic). I went to one and Olivia turned. She said that there are studies that show that chiropractic care is reducing the number of c sections, particularly because they can often get the baby to turn. Plus it feels so good on your back and joints after you get adjusted a few times!
